Had a gig in Mississauga yesterday for a birthday party. It was fun - the birthday boy was such a good dancer you can learn swing dancing looking at him.

Peter Appleyard introduced me to a Mandarin lady at the party who loved the way I sing. She told me she was very proud of me because I was from her country and sang so well. I'M HAPPY TODAY.

I got 2 tunes of swing dancing lesson with Peter - he's a great dancer and despite my advantage of youth, I couldn't keep up. I struggled and spinned on my 4 inch spiky heels, but it was fun anyway. Promised myself to get swing dancing lessons so the next time I'm asked by a LEGEND to dance I would know how to.

Had a little talk with the singers about how old people are...well, so extremely romantic. It's conservatism and restriction and what you can or can't do that creates that atmosphere as well. In the old days you would hang around at smile at a girl all night so you can take her dancing. Nowadays you just buy her a drink and talk her up so you can take her home and throw her around.

New fact: I'm the most beautiful woman in the world. Well, to one person anyway. MAYBE two.
